’84 Suzuki Gn 400 in Brat Style, may be described as small, light and just perfect for the city, that`s how we imagine this build! First, the engine of this amazing machine has been calibrated and painted. After that, we polished the cylinder cooling fins to get the effect of brushed aluminum. Later, the mechanical Mikuni carburetor has been aligned with the K&N air filter, gaining horsepower. We got rid of original air box and the frame has been shortened by 20 cm and closed with a nice loop. We painted the fuel tank in two shades of matt black and gloss. Suzuki logo was blurred with acid, obtaining a perfect golden color matching wheels (front wheel 18″ tire Avon Mirage 2 4.00 and back Avon same 5.00 16″). The spokes have been renovated and coated with chrome. We exchanged the break hoses with stainless steel one, just as we exchanged the master cylinder with a new one to increase productivity. We kept the original lamp at the front. Steel mesh was welded into the lamp, that changed an ordinary GN into a stunning machine! The handlebars has been shortened to make it easier to ride around town in traffic and easier to pass cars and trams on the narrow streets of Cracow. Beston grips and a mirror was put on the handlebars. The drive has been replaced with a new sprockets and a DID gold chain. It`s our 2rd Suzuki GN400 that we have pleasure to build.
You know what`s the best from this story? That little thing that makes us smile because the other person is smiling. That other person is Pawel – happy owner of ‘Lord’. What`s even better, Pawel became a friend of us and whenever we have time to take our machines to cruze, we cruze together.
